Connect your phone to the computer, Now PC will automatically recognise and install the right drivers for fastboot. To do this Hold Volume Up Key + Volume Down Key and then press the Power button. Switch off your phone and boot it in bootloader/fastboot mode. Here your Nexus 5 should be listed as ‘Android Composite ADB Interface’. Once the installation is finished on your PC, go to the Device manager and confirm. Now hit the Next button to start the drivers installation and at the time of installation Windows may ask your permission to install the drivers published by Google Inc. And keep the Include subfolders box checked. From the next windows click on the Browse button and select the Google USB Driver folder that you downloaded on the Step 1. Now from the next screen click on the Browse my computer for driver software Right Click on the Nexus 5 and select Update Driver Software. Once the Device manager is on your screen you will see the Nexus 5 on the Other Device list option with a yellow exclamation mark. Open the Device Manager on your desktop (To do this Search for Device Manager from Start screen and click to open.
